Facade/entrance in Living Hotel Prinzessin Elisabeth
- Very big room, lots of space - super comfortable bed and pillows, I slept great (not a given for me in hotels) - nice with a little kitchenette and bar seating area - great to have tea and coffee facilities, proper fridge - I asked for a quiet room and it was super quiet (I am VERY sensitive to noise for sleeping). It was next to the elevator so I was dubious at first, but with 2 doors to the bedroom, you could not hear a thing from the corridor (I stayed at the weekend). It was facing the inner garden - quiet location, but close to the center - supermarket next door - possible to turn off ventilation/aircon to make it quiet - possible to open the windows to air the room

The room was cozy and quiet, whichnis important for a light sleeper like me. The hotel has that rarest of things - doors that shut quietly, so you don't hear the din of everyone departing their rooms in the morning. The wee kitchenette was small, but good for preparing some light meals. The bed was comfortable and staff was able to accommodate my request for feather-free bedding. There were a couple of odd things with the room that the staff were helpful in resolving.

Fantastic location if you plan to use the bus system to see the sites - The buses are very good in Munich. Supermarket directly below the rooms - A+ for that too. Breakfast buffet with a nice relaxed atmosphere and scrambled eggs and bacon - very nice! The hotel is near the Isar river too for swimming. Bidets, kitchenettes, plumbing, and room decor all seemed new and very well thought out. I didn't use the sauna or gym but they looked nice. The staff were super nice too.

This hotel is about a half hour walk from the centre of town. I thought initially that this could make things a little hard work, however, on your walk down side streets on your way to town you come across some excellent restaurants and bars which I found a real bonus. These are safe streets to walk through, residential but socially busy. If you don’t want to walk cabs are numerous 15 euro to the main attractions. I was impressed by the size of the room.

Comfortable stay in a lovely, clean, spacious room in a nice hotel. Staff were, on the whole, very pleasant and helpful. Liked the beer and water being stocked every day and the use of a sauna was a plus. Felt the deal we booked for this hotel was good value. Hotel was more modern in its fixtures/condition than we were expecting. Location was great for sightseeing and walking around.
